The scent opens with bitter almond, rosemary and bergamot. At the heart are tonka bean, tobacco and jasmine. The base consists of incense, cedar and pine.
Oriental scents are warm and full, with amber, spices, incense and resins. Of the 1200 Bujairami scents on this site, the shop files 434 under the oriental family. An almond note ranges from bitter almond, with its marzipan and cherry-stone smell, to the milder, milky sweetness of sweet almond. Pine and fir are conifer notes: green, resinous and cool, like needles and bark after rain. Rosemary is an aromatic herb note: green, camphor-like and slightly piney. It gives a brisk, clean edge to fresh and fougère-style compositions.
An eau de parfum contains less fragrance oil than an extrait de parfum and more than an eau de toilette. Of the 1200 scents on this site, 1068 are sold as an eau de parfum, Tonka Tease among them.
