What does Bujairami Elite One smell like?
Orange, nutmeg and black pepper form the opening. Orange is bright and sweet, nutmeg is warm and slightly creamy, and black pepper adds a dry, sharp bite. Together they read as a spiced citrus, with the pepper keeping the opening from being simply sweet.
The heart is resinous and herbal. Labdanum, a resin from the rock rose, is dark, sweet and leathery, and it anchors the middle. Patchouli adds earthiness, and clary sage gives a herbaceous, faintly nutty green that cuts across the resin. This is the most distinct part of the list.
Amber, tobacco and vetiver close the scent. Amber is warm and resinous, tobacco brings a dry, sweet leaf tone, and vetiver is earthy and dry with a little smoke. Tobacco and vetiver are a familiar dry pairing in oriental and woody perfumes, so the base turns drier than the sweet-resinous heart.

Elite One compared with three similar Bujairami scents
Bujairami Elite One and Bujairami Cartel share amber and tobacco. Cartel opens on saffron, has rose and tobacco in the heart, and rests on amber and oud. Elite One starts on orange, nutmeg and black pepper, builds a labdanum and patchouli heart with clary sage, and rests on amber, tobacco and vetiver. The other list is floral in its middle and has no citrus or pepper at the top.
Bujairami Elite One and Bujairami Chosen share amber and tobacco. Chosen opens on grapefruit, coriander and basil, has ginger, cardamom and orange blossom in the heart, and closes on amber, tobacco and cedar. Elite One keeps its citrus to orange and uses black pepper and nutmeg where the other uses coriander and cardamom, while its heart is resinous rather than floral.
Bujairami Elite One and Bujairami Tigris share spices, patchouli and amber. Tigris opens on citrus fruits and spices, adds vetiver and musk to the heart, and rests on amber and patchouli. Elite One has labdanum and clary sage in its heart and adds tobacco and vetiver to the base, so the tobacco is the main difference, and the other list has no resin at all.
