Neroli, bergamot, black pepper and petitgrain open the scent. Neroli is the bitter orange blossom, green and honeyed, bergamot is bitter-fresh, petitgrain is the leaf and twig of the bitter orange tree with a green, woody citrus character, and black pepper adds a dry, sharp spice.
