The scent opens with saffron, cardamom and juniper. At the heart are suede, benzoin and coffee. The base consists of vanilla, tonka, amberwood, guaiac wood and labdanum.
Gourmand scents smell sweet and almost edible, with notes such as vanilla, caramel, coffee and cocoa. Of the 1200 Bujairami scents on this site, the shop files 360 under the gourmand family. Coffee is a roasted, bitter-sweet gourmand note. In perfume it comes from coffee absolute or from aroma materials and is often paired with vanilla, caramel or cocoa. Juniper is the berry that flavours gin: crisp, piney and peppery, with a dry, aromatic freshness. Guaiac wood is a dense South American wood with a soft, smoky, slightly sweet and tar-like smell. It adds a warm smokiness to woody bases.
An eau de parfum contains less fragrance oil than an extrait de parfum and more than an eau de toilette. Of the 1200 scents on this site, 1068 are sold as an eau de parfum, Golden Souq among them.
