What does Bujairami Confessions smell like?
The top has five notes, all fairly sharp. Amalfi lemon is a named variety, which suggests a rounder, sweeter peel than plain lemon. Bergamot adds bitterness. Blackcurrant brings a tart, green, slightly sulphurous berry edge. African orange flower is a floral citrus note, and tagetes, the marigold, is a more unusual material: green, herbal, faintly fruity and a little like apple skin and dried hay.
Violet, cyclamen and jasmine fill the heart. Violet is powdery, sweet and slightly green, and cyclamen is a watery, light, lily-like floral that perfumers usually build as an accord, because the flower yields no oil. Jasmine is sweet, white and heady. Three flowers of such different weight make a heart that is airy rather than heavy, and violet links backwards to the green top.
The base is made of four familiar, grounded materials. Vetiver is earthy, smoky and grassy. Musk is soft and skin-like. Amber is a warm, slightly sweet resinous accord. Virginia cedar, the American juniper wood, is drier and slightly sweeter than other cedars, and smells of pencils and cigar boxes. Nothing in the base is sugary. The list therefore runs from tart citrus through light flowers to dry woods and soft musks, and this guide has not smelled it, so it can only report what the notes contain.

Who is Bujairami Confessions for?
The brand tags Bujairami Confessions for him and for her. Citrus, floral and woody are the families this guide reads from the notes, a sorting of its own and not the brand's. It is an eau de parfum, and the brand lists no bottle size. The list has twelve notes, five of them in the top, so the opening is the busiest tier.

Amber, cedar, musk and violet are in both Bujairami Confessions and Bujairami Dead Serious. Dead Serious is an extrait; Confessions is an eau de parfum.
Bujairami 2000 shares amber, bergamot, cedar, lemon, musk and violet with Bujairami Confessions. It is a shorter list that adds black pepper and lavender, and has no blackcurrant, jasmine or vetiver. Confessions adds tagetes, cyclamen and African orange flower. Both are eau de parfum.
