Notes in Lychee

Notes as the brand lists them in its own catalogue (read on 24 October 2026). This guide has not smelled or tested the scent.

What does Bujairami Lychee smell like?

The opening of Bujairami Lychee is all fruit, with a little lemon. Litchi is juicy and sweet, with a rose-like, slightly grape-like perfume that is its signature. Blackcurrant adds tartness and a green, sulphurous bite. Red apple is crisp and watery, and Italian lemon contributes a sour, zesty top. Four different fruit profiles in one tier give the opening range: sweet, tart, crisp and sour.

The heart turns floral, and it chooses flowers that pair easily with litchi. Violet is powdery and green. Rose is the one that echoes the litchi's own rosy side. Jasmine sambac is a sweeter, fruitier and creamier jasmine than the common kind, with a hint of tea. So the fruit above and the flowers below share a rosy thread, and the transition is smooth rather than abrupt.

The base is the longest tier, with six notes. Sugar and vanilla absolute give plain, direct sweetness. Musk is soft and clean, and amber adds a resinous glow. Sandalwood is creamy and Cedar is dry, and between them they keep the sweetness from sitting on the skin alone. The list therefore runs from tart fruit to rose and jasmine to a sweet wood base. This guide sorts it as floral, gourmand and woody.
