Notes in Breezy

Notes as the brand lists them in its own catalogue (read on 24 October 2026). This guide has not smelled or tested the scent.

What does Bujairami Breezy smell like?

Six of the ten notes arrive with a place name, and the top is where that habit is most useful. Citron is the old, thick-skinned citrus, all rind and very little juice, and it smells sharper and drier than lemon. Calabria, in the south of Italy, is where most perfumery bergamot grows; the fruit is bitter-fresh with a faintly floral edge. Sicilian orange is the sweet, juicy counterweight. Sharp, bitter, sweet: on paper Bujairami Breezy opens with the full range of peel.

The heart keeps the citrus going by other means. Ginger, here given as Nigerian, has a lemony, peppery freshness when it is the fresh root and not the dried powder. Neroli is the oil distilled from the blossom of the bitter orange tree: green, lightly honeyed, a little soapy, the classic smell of cologne. Ceylon cinnamon is the soft, sweet bark, and it is the first warm thing in the pyramid.

Then the list turns dry. Black tea smells of tannin and leaves, slightly smoky. Ambroxan is a single molecule, made to give the mineral, musky warmth once taken from ambergris. Guaiac wood is a dense South American wood with a soft, tarry smokiness. Incense means the cool, lemony smoke of burning resin. None of the four is sweet, so the citrus above has nothing sugary to land on, and that dry, smoky floor is how a citrus scent ends up under oriental as well in this guide.

Who wears Breezy

Number 9 in the brand's own best-seller order when this guide read it, Bujairami Breezy is tagged for him. It is an eau de parfum, where much of the range is extrait. Citrus, fresh and oriental are the families this guide assigns from the notes; they are not the brand's labels. The note list is one of the fuller ones: ten entries over three tiers, most with an origin attached.

How Breezy compares with similar scents

Bujairami Hectic

Line up the two pyramids and Bujairami Breezy and Bujairami Hectic match entry for entry: citron, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange, then ginger, neroli and cinnamon, then black tea, ambroxan and guaiac wood. The last word differs, incense against olibanum, two names for resin smoke. The label differs too: eau de parfum here, extrait de parfum there.

Bujairami Drip

Bujairami Drip is a much shorter listing, three top notes and nothing below them: mandarin, orange and bergamot. Bujairami Breezy has the orange and the bergamot, swaps mandarin for the sharper citron, and then continues for seven more notes, from ginger and neroli down to black tea and incense. Drip is an extrait; Breezy is an eau de parfum.

Bujairami Psycho

Bergamot and ginger are what Bujairami Breezy has in common with Bujairami Psycho, whose published list stops after grapefruit, bergamot and ginger. Psycho's second citrus is bitter grapefruit, where Breezy uses citron and sweet orange. Everything from neroli and cinnamon to the smoky base exists on the Breezy list only, since Psycho names no base at all.
