Read the notes of Bujairami Ruby Oud before the name. The brand publishes four, and none is a wood. Pineapple is tangy and sweet with a sharp, almost sparkling edge. Raspberry is tart and jammy, a red fruit with a slightly powdery, violet-like facet. Two fruits and nothing else make up the top, so the opening is written as bright and sugary-sour.
Tuberose stands alone in the heart. It is the most opulent of the white flowers: creamy, sweet, heady, with a buttery and faintly green, camphor-like undertone. Vanilla is the only base note, warm and rounded. Fruit, a creamy white flower and vanilla make a straightforward fruity-floral outline. Pineapple on top and vanilla in the base: Bujairami Ruby Oud and Bujairami Bossman agree on those two. In between, Bossman lists patchouli where Ruby Oud has tuberose, and it adds bergamot, berries and amber. The fruit-and-vanilla frame is common to both extraits, while the centre is earthy in one and floral in the other.
Bujairami Emperor, an eau de parfum, is built from pineapple, bergamot, berries, amber, patchouli and vanilla. Two of those, pineapple and vanilla, are half of the entire list of Bujairami Ruby Oud. Bujairami Vesper is another scent with tuberose in the heart over a vanilla base, vanilla seed in its case. It is a much longer list: orange blossom, mandarin and peach on top, ylang-ylang and an agave accord beside the tuberose, sandalwood, cedar and white musk below.
