What does Bujairami Oud Dream smell like?
Five notes share the opening of Bujairami Oud Dream, and they pull in different directions. Cypress leaf is green, dry and faintly resinous, the smell of conifer needles crushed between the fingers. Saffron brings a leathery, slightly metallic warmth, closer to dried hay than to any flower. Cardamom is a cool, camphor-edged spice with a lemony lift. Bergamot and grapefruit supply the bitterness: one tea-like and floral, the other sharp and pithy. The result is a top that is spiced and resinous before it is fruity.
Rose and jasmine form the heart, a pairing that perfumers have used for as long as there has been perfumery. Rose is petal-sweet with a green, slightly peppery edge; jasmine is richer, creamy and a touch animalic. Neither is asked to carry a floral bouquet here, because the base is crowded and the two flowers act as a bridge between the spiced top and the dark materials underneath.
Seven notes make the base, which is where most of the character of this list lives. Oud is the resinous wood formed in infected agarwood trees, smoky, medicinal and slightly sweet. Leather is a smoke-and-birch accord, dry and slightly bitter. Cedar and sandalwood bring two woods of different temperament, pencil-dry and creamy. Amber, vanilla and tonka bean round the foundation with resin and sweetness, tonka adding its hay and almond tone. This guide sorts the list as oriental, citrus and floral, which follows the oud and amber, the opening fruit and the rose and jasmine in that order.
Who wears Oud Dream
The brand tags Bujairami Oud Dream for him and for her, and lists no bottle size. Oriental, citrus and floral are the three families this guide draws from the notes; that sorting is the guide's own, not the brand's. It is an eau de parfum, and the note list is a full three-tier pyramid with fourteen named materials, five of them in the top and seven in the base.

Oud Dream and its closest neighbours
Bujairami Oud Dream and Bujairami Ya Habibi have eight notes in common: saffron, bergamot, rose, jasmine, oud, amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Ya Habibi adds cinnamon, mandarin, frankincense and musk, while Oud Dream has cypress leaf, cardamom, grapefruit, leather, cedar and tonka bean. Ya Habibi is an extrait, Oud Dream an eau de parfum.
Bujairami G Oud is the shorter list: saffron, rose, oud, amber, tonka bean and vanilla, all of which also appear in Bujairami Oud Dream. What G Oud leaves out is the green and citrus opening, the jasmine, and the leather, cedar and sandalwood. Oud Dream is the wider, more layered of the two lists.
Saffron, rose, leather, oud, amber and tonka bean appear in both Bujairami Oud Dream and Bujairami Sacred Order. Sacred Order opens on berries and puts leather in the heart; Oud Dream moves leather to the base and fills the top with cypress leaf, cardamom, bergamot and grapefruit. Sacred Order is an extrait.
