What does Bujairami Milky Lane smell like?
Most of what Bujairami Milky Lane lists is described by texture: milk, cream, cotton. Fig milk refers to the white sap of the fig tree, and fig notes in perfume are green, coconut-like and creamy at once. Coconut cream is the rich, sweet end of coconut, built from the same group of milky molecules. Almond blossom is the flower of the almond tree, a soft, powdery scent with a touch of bitter almond.
The heart turns floral. Vanilla comes from the pod of an orchid, and “vanilla orchid” as a note name suggests the flower side of vanilla: lighter and more petal-like than the dark pod. Magnolia is a creamy white flower with a lemony freshness. Warm cotton is an accord, not a material. Perfumers compose it from clean musks to suggest fabric fresh from the dryer.
Macadamia milk in the base is a fantasy note for a nutty, buttery creaminess. Sandalwood is the one classic raw material in the list, and it fits the theme: of all woods it is the milkiest. Read from top to bottom, the eight notes repeat one idea in different registers, creamy fruit, creamy flowers, creamy wood, which is how a list with no caramel or sugar in it still lands in the gourmand family.
Who is Bujairami Milky Lane for?
Bujairami Milky Lane is tagged for him and for her. From its notes this guide derives two families, gourmand and floral; the label is ours, since the brand's listing gives notes but no family. The type is extrait de parfum. This is a list of accords more than of raw materials: fig milk, warm cotton and macadamia milk describe effects that perfumers build, so the names tell you the intended impression more than the ingredients.

Milky Lane compared with three similar Bujairami scents
Bujairami Chubby is sweeter on paper: caramel on top, tonka bean and musk in the heart, sandalwood and vanilla in the base. Bujairami Milky Lane meets it in the sandalwood and in vanilla, which Milky Lane lists as vanilla orchid. The milk notes, the coconut and the flowers of Milky Lane have no counterpart in Chubby, and Chubby's caramel has none in Milky Lane.
Bujairami Powder Affair starts where Bujairami Milky Lane does, with coconut, and it also carries vanilla. In between it lists powdery notes, and its base adds musk and tonka bean. Milky Lane takes the coconut in a different direction, towards fig milk, magnolia and macadamia milk, and ends on sandalwood, a wood that Powder Affair does not list.
Bujairami Fairy Dust is a long eau de parfum list with coconut water, several vanilla entries and sandalwood, three points of contact with Bujairami Milky Lane. The rest differs: Fairy Dust brings mango, mate, matcha tea, brown sugar and Peru balsam. Milky Lane has neither tea nor sugar; its cream comes from fig, coconut and macadamia, with magnolia and almond blossom.
