What does Bujairami Ghost smell like?
Sapodilla is a tropical fruit with brown, malty flesh, a taste halfway between pear, brown sugar and caramel. As a note it is soft and sweet without being sharp. Ambrette comes from the seed of a hibiscus-type plant and smells of skin: a gentle, slightly fruity musk with a trace of brandy. Neither material is loud. Together the opening is more of a hush than a burst.
Magnolia is a creamy, lemon-tinged white flower, rounder than jasmine and less heady. Violet is powdery and a little green, associated with cosmetic powder and the sweetness of old sweets. Sandalwood, with its milky, smooth, slightly sweet wood, supports both. The heart is three soft things leaning on each other, and nothing in it is bitter or spicy.
The base has two notes. Ambergris is a marine material with a salty, warm, skin-like quality; in modern perfumery it is usually recreated with molecules, and the listing does not say which form is used. Cedar is dry, pencil-like wood, the stiffest note in the list, and it stops the sandalwood from going creamy. This guide sorts the scent as floral and woody, from the heart and the base.

Is Ghost for you?
Bujairami Ghost carries the brand's for-him-and-for-her tag. Floral and woody are the two families this guide derives from its notes, which is our own sorting rather than the brand's. It is an eau de parfum in 100 ml. As a list it is short at seven notes, and it reads in three tiers with a floral heart, a fruit-and-musk top and a wood-based base.

Ghost compared with three similar Bujairami scents
Bujairami Dead Serious shares four notes with Bujairami Ghost: cedar, magnolia, sandalwood and violet. Its list also has ambrette seed and sapote on top and amber and musk in the base. The outline is so close that the difference is in the base, where Ghost has ambergris and Dead Serious has amber and musk. It is an extrait.
Cedar and violet are the two notes Bujairami Too Damn Good has in common with Bujairami Ghost. Too Damn Good opens with blackcurrant, bergamot and lemon, puts praline and musk beside the violet, and finishes with black amber and vetiver. It is sweeter and brighter at the start, where Ghost is soft and floral.
Sandalwood is the single overlap between Bujairami Ghost and Bujairami Too Damn Clean. That list is brief: spices on top, rose in the heart, musk and sandalwood below. Ghost has three times as many named materials and brings in magnolia and violet in place of rose, with ambergris and cedar in the base.
