What does Bujairami Boujee Oud smell like?
The brand's list for Bujairami Boujee Oud starts in the middle. No top notes are given, so the first names are sandalwood, jasmine and Ambroxan. Sandalwood is the creamy, milky wood of perfumery, smooth where most woods are dry. Jasmine is a white flower with a sweet, heady and faintly animalic scent. Ambroxan is a modern molecule modelled on ambergris: dry, mineral, a little salty, and used to give a composition lift and a clean, woody warmth.
Under those three sit musk and oud. Oud, or agarwood, is the resin-soaked heartwood of the aquilaria tree, and its smell is dark, woody and leathery, sometimes medicinal. Musk is the soft counterweight. Read as a whole, the list sets one flower between two very different woods, the pale cream of sandalwood and the dark resin of oud, with Ambroxan and musk smoothing the join. What opens the scent is simply not stated.
Who wears Boujee Oud
For him and for her is the tag the brand puts on Bujairami Boujee Oud. Woody is the family this guide assigns, a sorting of our own based on sandalwood and oud at either end of the list. It is listed as an extrait de parfum, the higher of the brand's two concentrations. The note list is a partial one: a heart and a base, five names, no opening.
What style is Bujairami Boujee Oud?

This is the guide's own wording of the family and notes, not a test.

How Boujee Oud compares with similar scents
Four of the five notes of Bujairami Boujee Oud have a counterpart in Bujairami Executor: sandalwood, jasmine (Arabian jasmine there), musk, and Ambrofix where Boujee Oud lists Ambroxan, two trade names for the same kind of ambergris molecule. The fifth, oud, is missing from Executor, which lists pear, bergamot, orange blossom, amberwood and vanilla instead.
Bujairami Inferno is the eau de parfum that pairs jasmine with oud, as Bujairami Boujee Oud does, and it has musk in the base too. The frame is different: Inferno opens with citrus fruits and spices and closes on amber and tonka bean, while Boujee Oud has no stated top and leans on sandalwood and Ambroxan.
Sandalwood, jasmine, musk and oud all appear in Bujairami Ya Habibi, so only Ambroxan is unique to Bujairami Boujee Oud. Ya Habibi surrounds those four with a great deal more: cinnamon, mandarin, saffron and bergamot on top, frankincense and rose in the heart, amber and vanilla below. Twelve notes against five; both are extraits.
