What does Bujairami Bitter Sweet smell like?
Pink pepper and grapefruit open Bujairami Bitter Sweet with a dry, tart brightness. Pink pepper is the dried berry of a South American tree rather than a true pepper, with a light, rosy and faintly resinous snap. Grapefruit is bitter and sharp, and jasmine on the same top line adds a warm, creamy white flower that softens the bitterness. The opening is bitter and floral at once.
The heart is dry and resinous. Fir gives a green, piney and resinous cool note, saffron is leathery, warm and slightly metallic with a honeyed edge, and cedar is dry and woody. Jasmine is absent from the heart, so the middle is green and dry rather than floral.
The base is the driest of the three layers. Musk gives a soft, skin-like warmth, amber a resinous and sweet glow, and oakmoss an earthy, mossy and slightly bitter green that stays under the woods. Those three give the scent its woody-oriental close.

How Bitter Sweet compares with similar scents
Bujairami Soft Fire shares jasmine, saffron and musk with Bujairami Bitter Sweet, though saffron sits on top there and in the heart here. Bujairami Cosmic shares jasmine, saffron and a pine-and-fir note with Bujairami Bitter Sweet, so the green, resinous side overlaps. Cosmic opens on pineapple and saffron, with jasmine and balsam fir in the heart, and amber, cedar and oud at the base. Its pineapple top is sweet and fruity where Bitter Sweet is bitter, and the oud is absent from this scent.
Bujairami First Class shares jasmine, saffron and cedar with Bujairami Bitter Sweet, and it is listed as an extrait de parfum where this one is an eau de parfum. Its list is shorter: saffron alone on top, jasmine and cedar in the heart, and amber at the base. It has no pink pepper, grapefruit, fir, oakmoss or musk, and the heart is much lighter in notes.
