What does Bujairami Aurora smell like?
The top is fruit and flower. Peach is soft and creamy, with a juicy edge that gives the opening its sweetness. Gardenia is a rich, creamy white floral, and African freesia petals add a clear, fresh floral note with a slightly green edge. Three soft notes make a bright and sweetly rounded start.
The heart brings in coriander, a dry, citrusy, slightly soapy spice that keeps the florals from sitting too sweet. Damask rose is deeper and jammier than the fresh rose of the top, and jasmine is white, creamy and indolic. Together they give the middle a full floral character with a little spice at its edge.
The base is patchouli, natural vanilla and vetiver. Patchouli is earthy and slightly camphorous, natural vanilla is creamy and warm, and vetiver is dry and smoky. Vanilla is the sweetest part of the base, and patchouli and vetiver keep it from turning into dessert.

Aurora compared with three similar Bujairami scents
Revival opens on ginger, cardamom, lavender, pepper, mahogany, coriander and mandarin, a long spiced list. Bujairami Aurora opens on peach and gardenia. The two share coriander, rose and jasmine in the heart. Revival's base is wide, with incense, vanilla, amber, tobacco, leather and musk, while Aurora's base is three notes: patchouli, vanilla and vetiver.
Big Love opens on violet, mandora and litchi, with plum, tuberose and ylang-ylang in the heart. Bujairami Aurora shares patchouli, vanilla and vetiver in its base, which is where the two lists overlap. Aurora's floral centre is damask rose and jasmine, while Big Love's is a heavier set of plum, tuberose and ylang-ylang.
Addiction is a shorter list: lavender and Amalfi lemon on top, African orange flower in the heart, and Virginia cedar, patchouli and vanilla in the base. It shares patchouli and vanilla with Bujairami Aurora, but it has no peach, rose or jasmine. Where Aurora's top is fruity and floral, Addiction's is citrus and herbal.
