What does Bujairami A La Carte smell like?
Six notes, and five of them are things you could find in a pastry kitchen. Vanilla is the obvious one: warm, creamy and faintly smoky when it comes from the pod, and in perfumery it is also a fixative that rounds off sharp edges. Cream is not a plant at all. It is an accord, usually made from lactonic molecules that smell of milk, coconut and peach skin, and it gives the opening a soft, enveloping texture instead of a bright one.
The heart pairs butter with cocoa. Butter as a perfume note suggests the rich, slightly salty and fatty smell of melted butter, again a built accord. Cocoa is dry, bitter and a little earthy, the smell of the powder and not of milk chocolate, and it keeps the butter from turning cloying. Musk, the third heart note, is a clean, skin-like softness; it is the one note here that is not edible, and it works as a blur that joins the sweet layers together.
Caramel is the only base note, which is unusual. Normally the lowest tier carries woods, resins or amber. Here a single sugary, slightly burnt note closes the list, so the scent has no dry or woody floor to rest on. This guide has not smelled it, so it can only say what the list shows: a composition that stays inside one idea, with vanilla at the start and caramel at the end, and cocoa and musk as the only turns in between.

Who wears A La Carte
The brand tags Bujairami A La Carte for him and for her, and sells it as a 100 ml eau de parfum. This guide's own sorting, drawn from the notes and not from the brand, places it in the gourmand family. It is a short list of six notes, nearly all of them sweet or milky, so it reads as a pure gourmand and not a blend of several families.

A La Carte compared with three similar Bujairami scents
Bujairami A La Carte and Bujairami Vanilla Dream share caramel, musk and vanilla, although the tiers differ: Vanilla Dream puts caramel on top and vanilla in the base, with honey in the heart. A La Carte adds cream, butter and cocoa and ends on caramel. Both are eau de parfum, and neither list has a single wood or flower.
Three of the six notes in Bujairami A La Carte, caramel, musk and vanilla, are also in Bujairami Chubby. Chubby adds tonka bean and sandalwood, which give its sweetness a nutty, woody floor, where A La Carte keeps butter, cocoa and cream. Chubby is an extrait de parfum; A La Carte is an eau de parfum.
Bujairami Legacy has caramel, musk and vanilla in common with Bujairami A La Carte, but it opens with bergamot and spices and rests on amber, so it begins dry and bright. A La Carte begins with vanilla and cream and has no citrus, spice or resin. Legacy is an extrait; A La Carte is an eau de parfum.
