The scent opens with oud wood, cypress and violet. At the heart are raspberry and lily-of-the-valley. The base consists of leather, dry amber, musk and vanilla. Cypress and lily-of-the-valley appear in no other Bujairami scent on this site.
Raspberry is a sweet, slightly tart red fruit note. Violet smells soft, powdery and slightly sweet; violet leaf is the greener, more watery side of the plant. Leather is an accord rather than an extract; it smells dry, smoky and slightly animalic, and softer when described as suede.
An eau de parfum contains less fragrance oil than an extrait de parfum and more than an eau de toilette. Of the 79 scents on this site, 35 are sold as an eau de parfum, Downtown among them. The type is printed on the bottle label.
Within the range, Honcho is the closest in notes. Shared notes: amber, leather and vanilla. Downtown also has musk, oud and raspberry; Honcho has spices.
